Mike Morgan - Texas Man You find many Texas guitar players any hotter than Mike Morgan. He's back with a new one, Texas Man, and this time he's doing the vocals as well as wailing away on the guitar. It's our Pick Hit of the month.

For our Surprise feature this month, we take a trip to the Mississippj Delta for a real, genuine blues house party at R.L. Burnside's place. These Raw Electric recordings were cut in several sessions in 1979 and 1980, and it's hotter than anything else you'll hear this year.

A lost album from 1970 from soul legend Sam Moore is now out on the streets. You can read all about it in the Flashback section this month.
