April 1998
Volume 3, Number 4

Satan and AdamOur Pick Hit this month comes from the streets of Harlem, with the foot-stomping music of duo Satan & Adam.

Two guys who really should be on bigger labels, Mighty Sam McClain and Guy Davis, have fine new CDs spotlighted in our Surprise section.

We take a look back at one of my all-time favorites, Whose Muddy Shoes, featuring a selection of Chess recordings from both Elmore James and John Brim in our Flashback section.

Hey, all you retro hipsters! Get ready to swing dance and lindy hop with the hot new CD from The Johnny Nocturne Band, featured in our  What's New section.

Important Note! Due to licensing restrictions recently imposed by BMI, Blues Bytes will not include sound clips of featured albums until such time that a special non-profit organization licensing agreement can be negotiated. We apologize for the inconvenience.
