This month's Pick Hit features the new album, The World In A Jug, from Jimi "Primetime" Smith and Bob Corritore. It's a great collection with the contributions of a whole host of blues veterans.

This collection of gospel/blues standards and originals, Revelation, comes from New York musicians Robert Hill and Joanne Lediger. Despite the age of some of the songs on this album, the music sounds fresh and original, thanks to the heart and soul put into the recordings. It's quite worthy to be this month's Surprise hit.

This month's Flashback feature takes a look back at vintage recordings from historical blues icon Big Joe Williams, with The Original Ramblin' Bluesman, 1945-1961 gathering many of the man's classic songs.

Our What's New section features new albums from Joe Louis Walker, Johnny Nicholas, Paul Filipowicz, Jewel Brown, Dyer Davis, and more.
