Shemekia Copeland returns with another stirring topical album, but also with some fun tunes, on Done Come Too Far. It's this month's Pick Hit.

It's been over 30 years since Silent Partners came out with their first album before going to other projects, but two of the three original trio return along with newcomer Jonathan Ellison with Changing Times. It was an easy choice for our Surprise CD.

For the Flashback feature we dug deep to find a previous recording by Silent Partners newcomer Jonathan Ellison, locating a great soul/blues album from 2017, Guitar Cry For Me.

Our What's New section features new CDs from Kat Riggins, Demetria Taylor, Al Basile, Breezy Rodio, The Strongman Blues Remedy, Emanuel Casablanca, Todd Sharpville, Mick Kolassa, and more.
