Buddy Guy sure doesn't sound like he's 86 years old on his new album, The Blues Don't Lie. With 16 selections of high quality blues, it was an easy choice for this month's Pick Hit.

The Boneshakers, still led by guitarist Randy Jacobs, are back with a new singer, Jenny Langer. The latest album, One Foot In The Groove, is our Surprise CD of the month.

Anson Funderburgh & the Rockets were one of the most popular blues bands of the '80s and '90s, especially after adding Sam Myers to the group. The 1988 album, Sins, is often regarded as one of the best by the band. We cover it in this month's Flashback feature.
