Buddy Guy is now 89 years young, with his new album, Ain't Done With The Blues, loaded with plenty of extremely fine music. A very easy choice for our Pick Hit for the month.

We were pleased to receive two new albums from members of the R.L. Burnside family, with son Garry Burnside and grandson Kent Burnside both putting out some very fine Mississippi Hill Country blues. The pair of albums are covered in our Surprise pick section.

This month's Flashback takes a look at an album from 20 years ago, Sleeping While The River Runs, from Mother Blues with guest Gerald McClendon. It's been re-released and is again readily available.

Our What's New section features new albums from Chris Vincent & the Raw Deals, Mississippi MacDonald, Anthony "Big A" Sherrod, Devon Allman, Yates McKendree, Monster Mike Welch, Debbie Bond, Kyle Culkin, and more.
